Typhoon 25 may cause closures on the Tateyama Expressway, Ken-O Expressway and Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line after 6 p.m. on September 20 because of heavy rain and strong winds.
Possible closures after 6 p.m. September 20
NEXCO East says expressways around Kazusa may close after 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026 because Typhoon 25 is expected to bring heavy rain and strong winds.
Affected routes
Possible closures include Kisarazu-kita–Tomiura and Kisarazu-minami JCT–Kisarazu-minami on the Tateyama/Futtsu-Tateyama routes, Togane IC/JCT–Kisarazu JCT on the Ken-O Expressway, and Ukishima JCT–Kisarazu JCT on the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line and connecting road. Anagawa–Kisarazu-kita may close after midnight on September 21.
