JR East will suspend the entire Kururi Line from the first train through the end of September 21 because of Typhoon 25. Normal service is planned September 20.
All-day suspension September 21
JR East will suspend the entire Kururi Line between Kisarazu and Kazusa-Kameyama from the first train through the end of Monday, September 21, 2026 because of Typhoon 25.
Normal service planned September 20
A possible suspension from Sunday evening has been withdrawn because the expected impact has weakened. Trains are now planned to run normally on September 20.
Arrange alternatives for Monday
Passengers travelling toward Kisarazu, Yokota, Kururi or Kazusa-Kameyama should arrange alternatives early. No replacement transport has been announced. Check JR East for updates.
