Route 410 reopens at Otomi in Kimitsu after slope repairs
The section of National Route 410 at Otomi in Kimitsu, closed since June 28 after a slope collapse, reopened at 10 a.m. on September 15 following completion of repair work.
Road closure lifted at 10 a.m. on September 15
The full closure of National Route 410 at Otomi in Kimitsu ended at 10 a.m. on September 15, 2026. Chiba Prefecture announced the planned reopening the previous day and listed the same time in its road restriction information.
About two and a half months after the slope collapse
The section had been fully closed since June 28 due to a slope collapse. Completion of repair work has restored the route and removes the detour for drivers using Route 410 between eastern Kimitsu and the southern Boso area.
