Uchibo Line resumes from Kazusa-Minato to Chikura; Chikura–Awa-Kamogawa suspended indefinitely
Service resumed between Kazusa-Minato and Chikura around 16:34. Chikura–Awa-Kamogawa remains suspended due to a landslide, with replacement buses starting September 9.
Service resumes as far as Chikura
JR East says Uchibo Line service between Kazusa-Minato and Chikura resumed at around 16:34 on September 8. Delays continue between Kisarazu and Chikura.
Chikura–Awa-Kamogawa suspended indefinitely
Service between Chikura and Awa-Kamogawa is suspended for the time being because of a landslide between Emi and Futomi. No recovery date has been announced.
Replacement buses start September 9
From September 9, replacement buses will operate between Chikura and Awa-Kamogawa from around 07:00 to 20:00. Capacity is limited and journeys may take longer than by train. Check JR East before travel.
