Azumaya Confectionery

Higashiya Kashiho (東屋菓子舗) is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop with more than 60 years of history, which started near the east exit of Kisarazu Station and later moved to Azuma. Its signature product, the ogura ice monaka (a wafer sandwich with red-bean ice cream), has a mildly sweet flavor and has long been a beloved summer staple locally. In 2019, the shop was renewed under third-generation management, adding new items such as strawberry chocolate mochi. It suits those looking for a souvenir or a short rest during a stroll.
