Boso Skyline is passable along its full length
Kimitsu’s September 22, 20:30 update confirms the reopening; abnormal conditions may remain.
Kimitsu announced at 20:30 on September 22 that the full Boso Skyline section of Prefectural Road 92 is passable. This follows our earlier report that through travel toward Kamogawa and Seiwa was blocked.
The city cautions that reopened roads may still have single-lane traffic or other unusual conditions. This is not an all-clear for every city road. Check the official closure map for your entire route. Road reopening does not itself confirm bus service.
