Kimitsu festival, ballpark event and fireworks cancelled
The September 26 station-area festival and ballpark event, and the October 3 fireworks at Kameyama Dam, have been cancelled because of typhoon damage and safety concerns.
Kimitsu announced on September 24 that the September 26 Citizens' Fureai Festival and Ballpark Street event, plus the October 3 Citizens' Fireworks Festival, are cancelled. Typhoon No. 25 damage makes it difficult to ensure participants' and visitors' safety.
Cancelled events
- September 26: Citizens' Fureai Festival at the south side of Kimitsu Station.
- September 26: the accompanying Kimitsu Ballpark Street event.
- October 3: Citizens' Fireworks Festival beside Kameyama Dam.
The Ballpark Street event covered in our earlier article will not take place. Please revise plans to visit the stalls, baseball activities or fireworks.
