Kimitsu City Library says a system failure that began on September 17, 2026 has made its internet services, including catalog searches and reservations, unavailable.

The library's official notice still said restoration work was in progress when checked at 11 a.m. on September 18. Anyone planning to search for or reserve materials online should check the recovery status before trying the service.
