Festival at Obitsu Sports Ground on September 20
The Obitsu Furusato Festival will be held at Obitsu Sports Ground in Kimitsu on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Scheduled attractions include a children's bingo game, jazz and hula dance, magic, street performance, local performing arts, bon dancing and food stalls.
Fireworks begin at 6:25 p.m.
The fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 6:25 p.m. and last about 30 minutes. Program details and times may change.
About a 12-minute walk from Obitsu Station
The venue is at 1005-1 Sueyoshi, Kimitsu. It is about a 12-minute walk from Obitsu Station on the JR Kururi Line. Around 130 parking spaces are listed across the sports ground, Obitsu Community Center, civic center and Obitsu Clinic, with temporary parking also planned at the agricultural cooperative. Large buses cannot be accommodated.
