Sodegaura accepts disaster waste from September 24

Sodegaura Clean Center (長浦580-5) will accept household waste caused by Typhoon 25 from Thursday, September 24—not from the September 22 announcement date.

Hours and documents

Monday–Saturday except public holidays: 09:00–11:30 and 13:00–16:00. Disaster certificates qualify for disposal-fee exemption. While certificate issuance is being prepared, damage photos or similar evidence can be accepted instead as a temporary exception.

Bring damage evidence and identification showing your address. Smartphone photos are accepted when printing is difficult. Confirm the exception before delivery: 0438-63-1881.

Sorting and exclusions

Separate bulky, burnable and non-burnable waste from the four appliance categories: televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines/clothes dryers. Empty refrigerators. The city lists size restrictions for wood and other items.

Business and farming waste, contractor demolition or renovation waste, soil, logs, vehicles and chemicals are excluded.

Delivery is restricted to affected residents, relatives, or city-licensed general-waste carriers. No municipal door-to-door collection or vehicle loan is offered.
