Uchibo Line: Anegasaki–Kisarazu repairs expected to take at least three months
Kisarazu–Awa-Kamogawa targets September 26. Replacement buses from September 28 are under consideration, not confirmed.
JR East's September 23 evening update expects Anegasaki–Kisarazu services to remain suspended for at least about three months. Kisarazu–Awa-Kamogawa is expected to reopen on Saturday, September 26.
Uchibo Line sections
- Chiba–Anegasaki: reduced service in both directions, without replacement transport.
- Anegasaki–Kisarazu: suspended both ways; repairs expected to take at least about three months.
- Kisarazu–Awa-Kamogawa: suspended both ways; September 26 reopening expected.
Replacement buses between Anegasaki and Kisarazu from Monday, September 28 are being considered. Operation is not confirmed; frequencies and stops have not been announced.
Kururi Line
Kisarazu–Kururi is expected to take about one week to reopen, with replacement buses from September 28 also under consideration. Kururi–Kazusa-Kameyama has no reopening estimate.
