All-day Uchibo suspension between Kimitsu and Awa-Kamogawa; Kururi also suspended

JR East's 11:22 a.m. information cancels all September 21 trains between Kimitsu and Awa-Kamogawa, with no replacement transport. Some Chiba–Kimitsu trains are also cancelled.

This supersedes the morning plan to stop from around 2 p.m. Delays or cancellations remain possible from the first train through the morning of September 22.

Information as of September 21, 11:05 a.m.

JR East reported at 10:51 a.m. on September 21 that Uchibo services were suspended both ways between Kimitsu and Kazusa-Minato, and Tateyama and Awa-Kamogawa, with no reopening estimate.

Uchibo sections

• Chiba–Kimitsu: some trains cancelled.
• Kimitsu–Kazusa-Minato: suspended.
• Kazusa-Minato–Tateyama: delays and cancellations.
• Tateyama–Awa-Kamogawa: suspended.

Kimitsu–Awa-Kamogawa will stop from around 2 p.m. through the last train on September 21. Check your section before travelling from Kisarazu toward Kimitsu or Futtsu.

Kururi and the following morning

Kururi is suspended all day. Both lines may have delays or cancellations from the first trains through the morning of September 22, without replacement transport.

The earlier report described a possible evening shutdown; the new plan starts around 2 p.m., with rain-related suspensions already in effect.
