Kimitsu water distribution moves to five locations; Seiwa School site closes
September 24 water distribution runs 08:00–20:00. Bring containers and use the five listed sites, not Seiwa Elementary School.
On September 24, emergency water is available at two Seiwa sites and three Matsuoka/Kameyama sites, from 08:00 to 20:00. Distribution at Seiwa Elementary School has ended.
September 24 distribution sites
- Former Shizen Kyuyomura Management Center, Oiwa 286
- Mishima Shrine entrance, Shukubara 844
- Matsuoka Community Center, Hirooka 1840-1
- Kameyama Community Center, Sakahata 321-1
- Fureai Park Kimitsu roadside station, Sasa Parking, Sasa 1765-9
Bring plastic bottles or water tanks. Use one of these sites instead of Seiwa Elementary School.
Water supply restoration
The water authority's September 24 update reports about 220 of 650 households restored in the Higashihikasa distribution area, with about 430 still without water. Closing a distribution point does not mean the entire area has recovered. Contact Kazusa Waterworks Authority at 0438-23-0743.
