Emergency water supply at Seiwa Elementary School; about 650 homes without water
Bring containers. The two other planned supply points cannot open until road access is restored.
A road collapse damaged a water pipe in Kimitsu's Higashihikasa distribution area, leaving about 650 homes without water from 23:00 on September 21. Repairs are planned for September 22; restoration time is unknown.
Water collection
Emergency supply started at 09:00 on September 22 at Seiwa Elementary School, 522 Higashihikasa. Bring bottles or water containers.
The planned points at the Shizen Kyuyoson Kanri Center (大岩286) and Mishima Shrine entrance (宿原844) have not opened because roads are impassable. They are planned once access is restored.
Affected districts: 植畑、東日笠、西日笠、二入、辻森、大岩、正木、奥米、宿原、怒田沢、旅名、豊英. Check the authority's boundary map and restoration notices.
