Kururi Line plans October 3 reopening between Kisarazu and Kururi; southern section still uncertain
JR East announced a planned date on September 25. Replacement buses from September 28 remain under consideration, with details not yet announced.
At 18:16 on September 25, JR East announced plans to reopen the Kururi Line between Kisarazu and Kururi on October 3 following disruption from Typhoon No. 25. The planned date may change.
Section covered by the plan
The date applies only to Kisarazu–Kururi. No reopening outlook is available for Kururi–Kazusa-Kameyama. Both sections remain suspended all day on September 25.
Replacement buses still under consideration
Bus substitution between Kisarazu and Kururi is being considered from September 28 onward, but frequency and boarding locations have not been announced.
