Free bathing in Sodegaura; Yubune also accepts affected non-residents

Sodegaura published bathing support as of 17:00 on September 24 for people unable to use their home bath because of Typhoon No. 25 outages or damage. Yubune accepts affected people from outside the city too; the other facilities below serve city residents.

Yubune Sodegaura

Bathing admission is free September 24–October 18 at Yurimachi mall, 1-39-15 Sodegaura Ekimae. The city lists availability from 09:00 to 23:30. Towels, food and other services cost extra.

Ask at reception, complete the form and show ID. The facility accepts disaster certificates, application receipts or confirmation through local authorities; people unable to provide these may declare their name, address and damage situation.

• Municipal sports ground, 1566 Sakadoichiba: from September 24, 08:00–20:30, last entry 20:00. Showers only; bring towels and soap.
• Gauland, 1862-12 Mitsuzaku: from September 25. Weekdays/Saturdays 09:30–21:00, last entry 20:30; Sundays/holidays until 20:00, last entry 19:30. Bring towels.
• Rinkai Sports Center, 1-57 Nagaura: from September 25, 09:00–21:00, last entry 20:00. Showers only; bring towels and soap.
• ADEKA Chiba plant, 3-1 Kitasode: weekdays September 25–29, 09:00–16:00. Advance booking required at 0438-62-4340, extension 2110 after the recorded guidance. Bring ID, towels and soap; capacity is limited.
