Sodegaura adds three voluntary shelters; Kimitsu lists five facilities
Nagaura reopens after September 22's closure. Sodegaura has five listed shelters as rain raises landslide concerns.
Sodegaura's September 23, 16:00 municipal email announced additional voluntary shelters at Nagaura, Negata and Hirakawa Community Centers because of rain-related landslide concerns. Civic Hall and Hiraoka Community Center remain listed, bringing the total to five.
Nagaura had closed as a shelter on September 22 but has now reopened. This is a shelter-opening notice, separate from its charging-point role.
Kimitsu voluntary shelters
Kimitsu's 15:00-hour notice lists five facilities for people affected by power cuts and related difficulties:
- Lifelong Learning Exchange Center
- Ikigai Support Center
- Oragawa, the Seiwa community complex
- Kazusa Obitsu Junior High School
- Matsuoka Community Center
Kimitsu asks evacuees to bring food, drinking water and phone chargers. Even light rain may trigger landslides, so take care when travelling. Opening these facilities is not itself a new evacuation order.
