Futtsu to accept disaster waste on Sunday, September 27; call ahead and bring a certificate
The Environment Center will accept eligible waste free of charge from 09:00 to 16:00, excluding 12:00–13:00.
Futtsu will exceptionally accept waste from homes and other premises affected by Typhoon No. 25 at its Environment Center on Sunday, September 27, from 09:00 to 16:00, excluding 12:00–13:00.
Call ahead and bring a certificate
Eligible items include furniture, appliances, tatami, clothing and bedding from premises issued a disaster or damage-notification certificate. Disposal is free for eligible waste. Ordinary household rubbish and waste unrelated to this disaster are excluded.
Before delivery, contact the center at 0439-37-2020 and bring the certificate. The address is 8-1 Sakurai Soshokinarayama, Futtsu.
Separate from certificate applications
City Hall also has a temporary certificate-application desk on the 27th. Application and issuance are separate; do not assume an application that day is enough to deliver waste immediately. Confirm the required certificate and delivery conditions beforehand.
