Uchibo Line plans normal service September 20; possible suspension September 21 evening
JR East now plans normal service between Kimitsu and Awa-Kamogawa on September 20. Service may be suspended from around the evening through the last train on September 21.
Possible September 20 suspension withdrawn
JR East has revised its Typhoon 25 service plan. Trains between Kimitsu and Awa-Kamogawa are now expected to run normally on Sunday, September 20.
The previous report said service might be suspended from the evening of September 20 through September 21.
Possible suspension September 21 evening
Service between Kimitsu and Awa-Kamogawa may be suspended from around the evening through the last train on Monday, September 21. The section and timing may change with the weather.
Chikura–Awa-Kamogawa expected to reopen
The landslide-affected section is still expected to reopen with the first trains on September 20. Check JR East before travel.
